2014
Dear Family Members,
Welcome back to Central Texas! Your local cousins are planning a delightful couple of day’s when you come to Temple, Texas for the 31st biennial Hoelscher – Buxkemper Renion on Saturday and Sunday, July 5 and 6, 2014 at the Frank Mayborn Center, 3303 North 3rd Street. Lots of free parking! We especially want to see the younger generations participate in all events. On Saturday, come prepared to visit with cousins, check out the silent auction, visit the souvenir area, get involved in the domino tournament, enjoy a good meal, and don’t forget your dancing shoes.
Be available for the Mass at 9:30 a.m. Sunday when the Knights of Columbus are asked to lead the procession. Veterans of all wars will be honored. Please attend the general family meeting immediately after the family lunch.
We hope this will be a fun reunion for you. Consider the purchase of the “The Hoelscher Family of Texas” Book, now on sale. Make sure you bring family updates for any future book.
If you are willing to lend a hand anytime during the reunion, please indicate when and where as you return your reservations. Also let us know if you would like to tour the museum in Westphalia from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
Please book your hotel reservations with the hotel directly. The web site for where to stay in Temple is http://www.ci.temple.tx.us/index.aspx?nid=418, or you can access the QR Code on the next page.
Please send your check for registration and meals with your reservations by June 30th in order that we can adequately plan for all. We encourage you to pre-register. If you don’t pre-register and your plans change so gthat you can come, registration will be available at the door but meals will not be quaranteed.
Come early and stay late. We look forward to seeing each of you on July 5 and 6, 2014. Let everyone know that we are “One Big Happy Family and united We Stand.”
Sincerelly,
Your Reunion Committee
